Halloween is creeping around the corner - get the kids rattled up with these Halloween events, or take further inspiration from our pick of top Haunting Half Term events around the UK.

The London Eye
The London Eye is getting in the spooky spirit with special haunted flights from Oct 24 to Nov 1. The Trick Or Treat flights hosted by Witch Trick and Witch Treat. The pair are putting on quizzes, games and treats for children.

Thorpe Park
Older teens can brave the Fright Nights at Thorpe Park (until Nov 1). As well as taking to the usual rides in the dark (including the terrifying Saw), there'll be various horror mazes, roaming ghouls and frightful surprises.

London Dungeon
The London Dungeon is scary at the best of times, but at Halloween it comes alive. The special event this year is The Scare Witch Trial (until Oct 31) where the starnge creatures roam around you and, if you're not careful, you might just find yourself on trial.

Dover Castle
This place is dubbed Britain's most haunted castle for a reason. A host of haunting events have been programmed to add to the thrill, though the spooky ghost trail around the castle is particularly worth catching (Oct 26 to Oct 31).

Bristol Gardens Zoo
Bristol Gardens Zoo is going all out with a Halloween festival (Oct 24 to Nov 1). The zoo witch and her cat are coming out to entertain the children, plus there's a fancy dress parade and pumpkin carving competition.
