Get hitched abroad

Inspired by the post below (where Mamma Mia! inspired weddings are on the increase in Greece), I've been on the hunt for glamorous, often budget wedding locations abroad. See below for four of the best spots to say: 'I do'.

Screen glamour at Darling Point
This harbour side suburb of Sydney is Nicole Kidman's home town; its local church, St Marks Anglican Church, is where Elton John had his first wedding and it's also the ceremony location in Muriel's Wedding. The waterside setting, plus gorgeous church and cute name make it a natural wedding location. Try Nightengales planners for a helping hand.

Beachside bliss in Bermuda
Enjoy sand under your feet at The Reefs. The Reefs resort in Bermuda. The starting cost for a wedding ceremony here is a budget £900 and includes an idyllic ceremony on the deck at Caso's Point - overlooking the water, it's a prime spot for romantic sunsets and photo ops.

European grandeur in Vienna
For somewhere a little closer to home, try the grand Schonbrunn Palace in Austria. The mid-17th century palace is a Vienna landmark and offers couples a private room in which to wed. The reception can spill out into the gorgeous grounds. Elegant Events (a company that offer a variety of alternative and grand locations) can look after the planning.

Elicit romance in Las Vegas
Ditch all those unwanted guests and elope to Las Vegas! It doesn't have to be a drunken, seedy or Elvis themed affair. Getting married in Las Vegas can be romantic: try the Little Chapel of Flowers - a traditional chapel with a range of packages. A ceremony here can cost as little as £500.
