A town called Obama

It's election day, and there is a small, far-flung corner of the world where the outcome might change life for ever - yes, Obama, Japan.

Five hours south of Tokyo (by bullet train, naturally), to date Obama has been known for its Wakasa lacquered chopsticks, and, for the last thousand years or so, the annual Omizu-okuri (Water Carrying Festival). Obviously Obama the town has no real links with Obama the man, but that doesn't stop the locals getting VERY excited about it. Watch this:
