Citizens of the world, meet M

I've just been editing our new Essential 24-hours in Amsterdam guide (which, naturally, I highly recommend) and discovered Citizen M hotel by Schiphol airport - and there's a new one opening in town in April too.

The idea is that it's 'affordable luxury' (yes, I was skeptical too, but it starts from £80 a night, so it's not too bad) - and it looks great, with masses of brilliant little gadgets thrown in too. So great, in fact, that I might consider going just to Amsterdam just to stay there. Watch this:
