Car Parking at Birmingham is very difficult at night - the signs are brown and do not show up under the existing lighting. It is all too easy to end up in the drop off lane and have to pay to get out. Once found, car park 3 is a very convenient walk to the terminal building.

I have scored as neutral, but was between neutral & poor because of the problems entering and exiting the car park, my car was not recognised when I arrived and then I was asked to pay £216 to exit the car park when I tried to leave, on both occasions it was sorted by asking for assistance but still a concern when you are faced with both situations.

ON OUR RETURN FROM THE HOLIDAY WE WERE UNABLE TO GET ON THE BUS SINCE THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR OUR LUGGAGE. THE DRIVER ONLY RINGS THE DEPOT WHEN HE IS LEAVING THE AIRPORT AND THAT IS WHEN ANOTHER BUS LEAVES THE DEPOT FOR THE AIRPORT. WE THEN HAD TO WAIT 25 MINUTES IN INCLEMENT WEATHER FOR THAT BUS TO ARRIVE.

Although I book my car in in advance, the barrier never recognises my car number plate and I always have to push the button for a ticket.

Simple and easy but when will you go to Number Plate Recognition for exit sometimes you wait several minutes before the operator can take the call to confirm the ticket on exit

sometimes the machine doesn't recognise your car reg but its soon sorted once you call through to the office, we always use this car park when we fly from birmingham
