Florida Halloween 2009

There's no better place to be for Halloween than the US. Orlando, in particular, goes all out with fright nights, costumes and themed events - and it's not as expensive as you might think this October half term.

Continental Plaza Disney World

Flights and Accommodation

There are certainly plenty of deals to Florida around at the moment with good packages as well as flight prices - but they're selling out fast! One of the best last minute deals we found was through Jetsave who are offering a family of four, 10 nights at the two star Continental Plaza Hotel in Orlando, breakfast, flights and car hire for £1956.

Terror Free Tots

While you don't want to scare the bejeezus out of your children, a few friendly ghosts can be fun. The Walt Disney Resort in Orlando has planned Mickey's Halloween Party with a fear-free parade and Happy Hallowishes fireworks display.

Horror Teens

If your teens can handle the fear, drop them off at any of Orlando's mega theme parks. All are catering for horror lovers, though Universal Studios is excelling itself with eight haunted house, thrilling live shows, six 'scare zones' and a roaming Chucky!
