The tagline for the new Birmingham Food Festival is '27 cuisines in 10 days'; so you can be sure that there's something for gastronomes of all palates and predilections. The Festival follows on from the discontinued Taste of Birmingham festival - that some felt had become too exclusive. The festival brings together a sprinkling of Michelin-star rated chefs and eateries, a dollop of fine foods and a slice of exotic foods. See the video below for all the highlights.
Don't leave Birmingham without making a call to these Michelin-star rated places: Simpson's in Edgbaston, Turners in Harborne and Purnell's in Cornwall Street (you must try their Burnt English Custard Surprise - it was... well let me not spoil the surprise).
