Belfast Airport Information

You can find Belfast International Airport, also referred to as Aldergrove Airport, 21 km northwest of Belfast. It is a major airport in Northern Ireland. As the name suggests, it facilitates international flights.

Belfast Airport Security

While the airport has a set of standard security rules, you airline may have their own rules regarding safety procedures and limits. Note important airport rules regarding the following

  • Liquids should be in 100 ml containers inside of clear resealable plastic bags
  • Pushchairs, wheelchairs and walking aids are going to be searched and scanned
  • Hand luggage can have a maximum size of up to 56cm x 45cm x 25cm
