Dining

Sweetcorn ice cream, tarragon mousseline, pomegranate milkshake expect to have your horizons broadened when you sit down to dinner in the restaurant.

There's a choice of six starters, six mains and six desserts, and while there's plenty of innovative fare on the menu, there are also plenty of options for the more traditional palate, such as sirloin steak and braised lamb.

We'd start with haggis with a swede and sweet potato rosti and a whisky glaze, followed by roasted guineafowl supreme with fondant potatoes, braised red cabbage and a puy lentil and pancetta sauce, with marbled chocolate tartlet and sweet orange sorbet to finish. A three-course meal would cost about £25.

Dinner is served from 7pm to 9.30pm. Breakfast is served from 7am to 9.30am on weekdays, and from 8am to 10am at weekends. English breakfast is included in the price.

Check-in

You can check in from 2pm and you must check out by 11am.
