M6 Road Closure - Advice and Information

Summary: Armed forces closed off part of the M6 motorway in West Midlands earlier today due to suspicious activity occurring on a coach travelling towards London.

The M6 was closed off at about 08:30 between Junctions T3 and T4 while the police questioned the 48 passengers onboard the coach. Police officially claimed that the area was safe four hours later at 12:35.

Despite the busy motorway being open again, motorists are currently delayed by about two-and-a-half hours. Due to this delay, travellers on their way to the airport may be affected.

Please make sure to contact your airline to find out information about your flight.
