Airport Parking
Do you need to cancel or amend your parking booking?
- You can cancel your airport parking right up to your booked arrival time at the car park
- There will be a cancellation fee of £5.00 to cancel your booking if you didn't purchase the cancellation waiver at the time of booking
- Please Note: Savers or Super Savers cannot be cancelled or amended under any circumstances

Stranded abroad and need to extend your parking booking?
- The majority of car parks we work with WILL NOT CHARGE YOU for additional days' parking if you have been delayed because of the flight restrictions caused by the volcano
- As soon as you have confirmed your new travel plans, please contact the car park directly so that a good service can be maintained
- If you are abroad awaiting new travel plans and are a Meet and Greet customer, as soon as you have your new flight details, please contact the car park directly so that the service can be maintained
Airport Hotels
Do you need to cancel or amend your hotel booking?
- Our airport hotels require 48 hours cancellation notice
- Depending on which hotel you book the cancellation will either be free or a fee of £15 per room will be applicable
- Please Note: Savers and Secret savers cannot be cancelled or amended under any circumstances
- Where any amendment to a booking reduces the total number of rooms or nights required, you will be charged a cancellation fee of £15 per room, per night
- If you collect your car after the departure date/time printed in your booking confirmation then you will have to pay the car park or hotel locally for any additional parking time at their published Gate Rate.

Lounges
Do you need to cancel or amend your airport lounge booking?
- For flight delays caused by the ash cloud, passengers' Lounge Pass bookings will be accepted at the UK Lounges on the day that their flight is rescheduled for, so customers can use their existing Lounge Pass
- However, under normal circumstances cancellations must be received by email, fax or letter at least 24 hours before the departure date, otherwise no refund is possible
- Please Note: some lounge suppliers have advised that availability over the coming days will be at the discretion of the lounge staff

Am I covered?
Our travel insurance policies are underwritten by White Horse Ireland Ltd and in accordance to their policy documentation:
- Abandonment - No Cover
As a Volcanic eruption is not a specified peril under the Abandonment section of the policy, no cover will be granted and normal conditions of the policy will apply
- Cancellation / Future Travel - No Cover
A Volcanic eruption is not a specified peril under the cancellation section of the policy. Customers who are booked to travel in the future and want to cancel immediately, because of this incident, no cover is available as the normal conditions of their policy apply. All such customers need to contact their travel company, airline or tour operator for their advice, the making of alternative travel arrangements or potentially to claim a refund
- Delayed Departure - No Cover
As a Volcanic eruption is not a specified peril under the Delayed Departure section of the policy, no cover will be granted and normal conditions of the policy will apply
- Missed Departure - Limited Cover
Limited cover is available, claims will be assessed in line with the policy wording terms and conditions on an individual claims basis
- Catastrophe - No Cover
As a Volcanic eruption is not a specified peril under the Catastrophe section of the policy, no cover will be granted and normal conditions of the policy will apply.
Do you need to extend your policy?
- White Horse Ireland Ltd are extending cover under all policies belonging to those who are unable to return to the UK/ Ireland because of this incident. This extension is provided free of charge. There is no requirement to make any administrative amendment.

Do you need to amend or cancel your policy?
- Cancellation
If you decide this policy does not meet your needs you may cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund providing you have not travelled and no claim has been made. Cancellation or refund on policies which have been part travelled on is not possible

You can amend any detail on your travel insurance policy before the policy start date.
