Following the news that Goldtrail based in New Malden has gone into administration - anyone currently abroad or booked to go away with the company should follow the advice below:
Goldtrail Travel Ltd traded under the website www.goldtrail.co.uk, and under the brands Goldtrail Holidays, Goldtrail Travel and Sunmar.
Goldtrail passengers overseas on flight inclusive holidays will be repatriated back to the UK. There will be no further outbound flying and passengers.
All inbound flying from Turkey and Greece will operate as scheduled over the weekend, and up to and including Monday 19 July 2010. Passengers who are due to return to the UK are advised to go to the airport as originally scheduled
Forward booking passengers who have flight inclusive bookings with Goldtrail are advised to contact their travel agent in the first instance.
Detailed information relating to inbound flights from Tuesday 20 July 2010 will be posted onto the CAA website, www.caa.co.uk as soon as they become available.
Passengers who have booked a holiday with Goldtrail Travel Ltd are fully financially protected. Goldtrail Travel Ltd operated as a full member of ABTA (W6050) and ATOL 4684.
All customers who have booked a package holiday with Goldtrail Travel Ltd are bonded under ATOL number 4684, and are advised to contact the CAA on the following number 0044 203 441 0846.
All customers who have booked a flight, accommodation or a package holiday with any ATOL bonded company, with an ATOL number other than 4684, are advised to contact ABTA on 01243 621500.
Any EssentialTravel.co.uk customers who have booked travel insurance, an airport hotel or parking for a Goldtrail holiday, should contact our customer services team from Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30.
