Our cheap winter sports insurance is available for people aged up to 65 years and has the following essential features:

• Cover for up to £10 million should you have an accident on holiday
• Up to £750 to cover the replacement or repair of ski or snowboard equipment on Superior policies
• Up to £510 to cover the loss or damage of hired equipment
• Up to £500 compensation for closed piste while you are away
• Compensation up to £600 for un-used ski packs

Your Winter Sport Travel Insurance and Bad Weather

Unfortunately mother nature doesn't always decide to play along with your adventures on the slopes. So when bad weather (or sometimes too much good weather) forces you to stay in-doors or cancel a planned and paid activity due to piste closure or a delay due to an avalanche, you are still covered.

• Piste closure: Up to up to £500
• Delay due to avalanche in your resort: Up to £600 for outward or return journey.

Top Tip: If you need to claim for piste closure, remember to ask the relevant authority to confirm in writing that the piste was closed. Also make sure you keep any receipt for transport to another resort and the cost of the lift pass.

Please be aware our travel insurance including winter sports, is only available to those up to and including the age of 65. It is also not available to professionals (i.e. those travelling to take part in winter sports competitions)- we are sure you are too good to need us, right.
