• Wear protective clothing such as helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads
• Stay away from traffic until you are an experience and confident skateboarder
• Learn how to fall without injuring yourself
• Relax and roll into a fall rather than breaking a fall with your arms
• Check that your skateboard is in good working order before each ride
• Don't skateboard in tandem
• For pro skateboarders, practice and plan new tricks carefully in a safe designated area*

How Do I Take Out Skateboarding Travel Insurance

Skate boarding is considered a Grade 2 risk sport. This means that there is a relatively low risk of accident and injury while skating. Still, it's best to have your travel insurance in place so you can better enjoy your vacation. We also advise that you take out our Superior Policy when taking part in sports on holiday.
