Holiday Insurance for Rock Climbing
Rock climbing is a very challenging yet very rewarding activity, earning you a great view at the end of your climb and making you appreciate it all the more. We provide you with comprehensive and affordable rock climbing cover under our Sports Grade 4 cover. Simply add extra cover when quoting any of our Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip or Backpacker trip types.
How Sport Grades Work
We grade our sports according to their level of risk. Grade 4 sports are the highest risk sports that we offer coverage for, and require the payment of an extra premium. However, you will then receive cover for all grade 1 - 3 sports as well. If you decide not to top up your cover, we offer cover for grade 1 (low risk sports) at no extra cost.
Grade 4 Sports
If you take out the grade 4 cover, you'll receive cover for the below sports. A policy for the true adventurer.
- Parasailing
- Rock Climbing (under 2,000 metres)
- Rock Scrambling (under 4,000 metres)
- Trekking (between 4,001 metres and 6,000 metres)
- Via Ferrata
