Off Piste Skiing Travel Insurance

Off-piste skiing - as long as you are skiing within our policy guidelines - is covered by Grade 2 Winter Sports. This useful cover also extends itself to snow boarding, downhill skiing, snow mobiling, and dog sledging. There are a few safety regulations, which we urge you to read and follow when skiing off piste.

Off Piste Travel Insurance Guidelines

When going off piste you must be accompanied by a locally qualified guide and not ski in any areas designated as unsafe by local authorities or your off piste insurance will be invalidated.

Our cheap Winter Sports insurance is available for people aged up to 65 years and has the following essential features:

• Cover for up to £10 million should you have an accident on holiday
• Up to £750 to cover the replacement or repair of ski or snowboard equipment on Superior policies
• Up to £510 to cover the loss or damage of hired equipment
• Up to £500 compensation for closed piste while you are away
• Compensation up to £600 for un-used ski packs

Off Piste Travel Insurance

Choose between three different types of policies for either UK off piste travel insurance, Europe off piste travel insurance or Worldwide off piste travel insurance:

• Single trip polices with off piste ski insurance are valid for winter holidays up to 31 days
• Annual multi trip polices with off piste ski insurance allow unlimited trips throughout the year with winter sport holidays - cannot exceed 21 days in total
• Backpacker polices with off piste ski insurance allow continuous trips up to one year with winter sports limited to 31 days in total
