If you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure it can become more difficult and expensive to organise travel insurance. We make it as simple as possible by asking you to fill in our simple online medical screening questionnaire to obtain an individual quote for your high blood pressure travel insurance. Our polices include:

• Emergency medical expenses up to £10 million including repatriation should you require it
• Hospital benefit up to £1200 per day on Superior polices
• Additional medical coverage available with single, annual multi trip and backpacker polices

Medical Screening

Step 4 of 5 on the online booking/renewal process is the pre existing medical conditions page. After you have answered the four simple questions enter high blood pressure into the search box above the alphabet and it will say in red letter 'Sorry we cannot find a match for the medical condition click here to use our online screening process.' Click on the link advising you to click here and then answer the following questions on high blood pressure. If you have any other medical conditions you can also list them at this point. When you have completed all the questions you will be given your own tailor made quote for the cost of covering your medical conditions. You can choose to accept or decline the hypertension travel insurance at this point.

If you choose to decline the additional medical cover it means that you will not be covered for anything directly or indirectly related to your high blood pressure. You would continue to be covered for emergency medical treatment should you accidentally hurt yourself on holiday.

High Blood Pressure Travel Tips

• If you have high blood pressure it is advisable to check with your doctor if you plan to do scuba diving or other hazardous activities on holiday before you buy your high blood pressure travel insurance
• As with all medical conditions ensure you have enough medication with you to last for your whole of your trip
