There are no additional forms and you do not have to go through our medical screening process for this condition.

You have the choice of up to 4 cover levels and 4 areas of cover so that you only pay for the cover you need. You are also able to add extra cover for pre-existing medical conditions, sports, weddings, business and cruises too.
*Please note that a Hiatus Hernia needs to be declared as this is not covered as standard in our policies. Should you need to declare your condition via our online medical screening process, you will be asked a few non-invasive questions relating to your:
- Treatment procedures
- Medication
- Present condition
Experts' Top Tip - The online medical screening will include questions that you have probably been asked before and will be able to answer off hand, but having a record of your treatment nearby is a good idea in case you are asked specifics such as the names of your medication and so on.

Cheap. But not nasty!
I required travel insurance for my 13 year old daughters who are travelling unaccompanied to the USA later this year. Essential was one of the few companies I found that caters for that market and at a surprising low price. The cover is more than adequate although it has to be said that figures for the excess waivers were not so readily traceable. But got that I'd award it five stars. If we have to make a claim this review and the raring could go down as well as up.
