Cross country, Nordic Skiing and XC Skiing all involve skiing long distances along tracks of natural terrain. It is essential that you are accompanied by a locally qualified guide and do not ski in any areas designated as unsafe by local authorities. • Backpacker polices with cross country ski insurance allow 1 continuous trip up to one year with winter sports limited to 31 days in total
