Travel Insurance for Broken or Fractured Bones

Travel with the ease and comfort of knowing that you are fully covered to travel with any broken or fractured bones (not including spinal or head injuries) at no extra cost on any of our Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip or Backpacker policies. If your doctor gives you the go-ahead to travel and no treatment is expected for the duration of your trip, then you're on your way and covered.

Add extra cover for spinal or head injuries

If you have a spinal and head injury you will need to add the extra medical cover. To do this, simply complete the quick and easy medical screening process after getting a quote and answer the questions on your condition. You will then be quoted a price to add the additional cover to your policy and taken to the final payment screen.

Experts' Top Tip - * We offer cover for broken bones, but it does not include spinal or head injuries as well as travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner. You are advised to see a doctor before embarking on your travels.

Customise your policy

You have the choice of up to 4 cover levels and 4 areas of cover so that you only pay for the cover you need. You can also add extra protection for pre-existing medical conditions, sports, golf, cruises, business and weddings if you need it.

Medical Insurance

Should you have an accident abroad and require medical attention you will be covered by your policy for subsequent costs. Treating a broken bone is not always as simple as putting the broken limb into a plaster cast. Often surgery, x-rays and physiotherapy are required to aid the natural healing process.

All travel insurance policies include:

  • Medical Expenses cover ranging from £2.5 million to £10 million
  • Hospital Benefit cover ranging from £300 to £1,200 per day
  • Personal Accident cover ranging from £7,500 to £30,000
