With a backpacker's policy, you don't actually need to be backpacking, you simply need to be under the age of 45 years*. By purchasing our mid-range backpacker's cover you will receive the following benefits:

• Emergency medical and other expenses - £10 million cover
• Hospital benefit - up to £60 per day with a limit of £1 200 for Superior policies
• Personal accident - up to £30 000 maximum cover
• Personal liability - up to £2 million cover
• Travel delay - £20 per 12 hours delayed with a limit of £200 for Superior policies

*Please note, if you are between the ages of 45 and 74 and are intending to travel for 6 months or a year, our annual multi trip policy is a viable alternative. This covers you for multiple trips lasting between 31-45 days each.
