Introduction
A major travel hub and one of the United States' 10 biggest airports, Chicago O'Hare International Airport is a sprawling yet well organised facility, which has previously been voted as 'Best Airport in North America'. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 manage mainly domestic traffic, with a fourth terminal under construction, while Terminal 5 is known as the International Terminal, although the other terminals also handle some international flights.
Airport parking at Chicago O'Hare
Hourly, daily and valet parking at Chicago O'Hare are located between terminals 1, 2 and 3. There is also a car park situated near the International Terminal. Long term parking can be found off Bessie Coleman drive and Zemke road. Complimentary shuttles and the free Airport Transit System provide links between the car parks and the terminal buildings.
Getting to and from the airport
Rail service between Chicago O'Hare and the city centre are provided by Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). The CTA Blue Line Station that connects the city with the airport is located on the lowest level of the main parking garage. This is accessible via pedestrian tunnels from terminals 1, 2 and 3. Route and schedule information is available on a large board situated near the entrance to the station. Hotel buses and shuttles generally depart from the airport every five to 10 minutes. The Bus/Shuttle Center is located on the ground floor of the car park. This area is also connected to terminals 1, 2 and 3 via tunnels. Taxis are readily available at Chicago O'Hare International Airport and can be found at the lower-level entrances to the terminals. Shared-hire taxi vans can also be hired here. Both shared and private taxis operate around the clock. By car, Chicago O'Hare is linked to the city centre via the Airport Expressway, just off the I-465 loop.

Banks operating bureaux de change facilities are spread throughout the terminal buildings and ATM's are located near the ticket counters. A post box is located near the ticket counters on Concourse D. For those travelling on business, there are communications facilities, workstations and conference rooms available. Lifts, ramps, wheelchair-accessible toilets and TDD telephones are provided for passengers with disabilities.
