Travel by Train

Trains needn't be a poor man's plane. They may be cheaper (in most cases), but they're also greener, more direct, more flexible and far more comfortable. Rail is also one of the most exciting ways to travel, rewarding travellers with a window to sights off the beaten track, the chance to meet interesting people (rather than your fellow, and far-too-close, Ryanair passenger) and a journey that's as much a part of the holiday as the destination itself.
