Marbella: Sports and Activities

Once a sleepy Spanish fishing village, now a playground for the rich and famous, Marbella's fantastic climate, beautiful beaches, thriving night life and plentiful golf courses all help make it one of the most popular destinations on the Mediterranean.

Golf

This may well be golfing heaven - from golfing resorts to the more traditional country club, Marbella has a broad range of greens catering to all abilities.

Motor Racing

Step on it: Hidden away in the Ronda Valley is the world's first "race resort" - and, at 5,425-metres, the longest track in Spain.
Carretera de Campillos, Ronda. Tel. +(34) 952 187 171.

Tennis

Many of the hotels have courts, otherwise try Club de Tenis El Casco, a club with eight clay and two hard courts. Former French champion Manolo Santana also owns a club nearby.
