Bag snatchers and pickpockets are as prevalent in Marbella as in any of Spain's popular resorts. Another popular scam here is timeshare sales - be careful who you give your bank or credit card details to.

Health

Marbella's famous sunshine can lead to sun burn and dehydration. Slap on a high factor sunscreen - regularly - and make sure you drink plenty of water, especially if you're drinking.
