Limassol Hotels
There are many excellent hotels in Limassol, and a wide choice of accommodation to suit your needs and budget. Cyprus is generally not considered to be a luxury destination, so most hotels are reasonably priced. The more upmarket hotels can be found along the eastern beaches and on the Larnaca and Nicosia roads, together with several modern apartment hotels.
The Amathus Beach Hotel offers excellent service and has beach or mountain-view rooms. Another elegant five-star hotel is the Apollonia, situated on the beach front and just a 10-minute drive from the city centre.
The cheaper hotels are not usually as conveniently located, but there are good options in Yeorgiou Malekidi street or downtown, between Zinonos and Anexartisias streets. The Alasia on Haydari street has a swimming pool and is a short stroll from the city centre.
Advanced booking is recommended during the peak summer months and holidays. If you travel outside of the tourist periods then reservations are not necessary. Bear in mind that some hotels are only open for the summer season.
Other options for accommodation include camping at Kalymnos Beach (space for 250 tents and 11 caravans), and a youth hostel, located behind the castle.
Airport hotels
The Hawaii Grand Hotel is situated four kilometres from Paphos International Airport and offers top facilities and excellent service. If you are travelling through Larnaca Airport, then Les Palmiers and Larco Hotel are both nearby.
