Dubrovnik Airport Hotels
As the airport is only one kilometre from the city, there is very little call for airport hotels, and visitors looking for an overnight stop ahead of travelling elsewhere will find making the journey to the city is convenient, giving them a good choice of accommodation as well as access to all of the city's amenities. Alternatively, the small town of Cavtat is close by and offers a modest selection of accommodation options.
Where to stay
Where to stay depends very much on your taste and budget. If you are staying only a night or two at the most then you may be happy to settle for a fairly no-frills establishment. If you are flying into Dubrovnik as a holidaymaker intending to spend the best if not the entire part of your trip here, your standards will invariably be higher.
If it's something upmarket that you are after then the Radisson or the Excelsior hotels will certainly meet your expectations. The Dubrovnik Babin kuk company meanwhile offer four respectable establishments which are reasonably priced and offer high standards. These are: Dubrovnik President, Argosy, Minceta and the Tirena.
If you prefer to stay in the smaller town of Cavtat then you'll find hotels such as the Hotel Iberostar Epidaurus, Hotel Cavtat, Hotel Jakanov Dvor and Hotel Supetar in the mid-price range; Hotel Iberostar Albatros and Hotel Villa Kvaternik in the upper-middle price range; and the Hotel Croatia in the upper price range.
