Calgary Hotels
With more than 11,100 beds, Calgary offers visitors a wide menu of accommodation options. From world-class hotels to unique and historic bed and breakfasts as well as heritage homes, inns, cabins and chalets, there's an accommodation option to suit every need and pocket.
Where to stay
If you want to be right in the thick of the action, the hotels along the Macleod Trail Strip are among the biggest shopping centers and nightclubs in Calgary. The Sandman Hotel, located in downtown Calgary, is situated on the C-Train line, just minutes from Calgary's best attractions. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites is also in the heart of downtown Calgary, close to business and entertainment districts, and is just a three-minute walk from the Calgary Light Rail Transit Station.
Those who feel like something a little more laid-back than a big hotel can try one of the more than 100 bed and breakfasts scattered throughout the city. Each has a unique charm and personality, and service is generally better than that in hotels. Most are a little more expensive than comparable hotel lodgings, but may be well worth the extra expense for the intimate hospitality and comfort.
