The international airport, known as Guarulhos, is 18 miles from the city centre, so if you have an early flight, you may want to consider staying at one of the airport hotels.
Which hotel?
The Caesar Business Hotel International Airport, Hotel Monaco Residence and Sao Paulo Airport Marriott Hotel are all located within a 10-minute drive of the airport. Hotel reservations can be made at the tourist information counters on the Arrivals floors of terminals 1 and 2.
Where to stay?
Within the city centre, visitors will find plenty of other accommodation options, suitable for all tastes and budgets. Booking ahead is advisable, as there are many business travellers in Sao Paulo, meaning popular hotels can become fully booked at busy times.
