It is recommended that visitors do an internet search to get the most favourable prices and to book their accommodation well in advance of their trip to avoid disappointment. During spring and autumn, the hotel rates are more reasonable and not as crowded.

Airport Hotels
As Newcastle Airport is not far from the city, it is very convenient for visitors to stay at hotels located within the city. However, there are several two and three-star hotels that are only a few kilometres from the airport; Best Western Morro Farm Motel, Flag Hotel Noah's on the Beach, Rydges City Central Newcastle, Hotel Ibis Newcastle and a few more hotels. If travellers wish to stay at more luxurious accommodation, they will need to stay in the city centre.
