Canberra Airport Hotels
There are not many options for staying out near the airport and most visitors choose to stay within the city centre where most accommodation is located. However, several hotel chains are represented near the airport to suit business travellers and tourists, where business and leisure facilities are plentiful.

Hotel options near the airport include the likes of the Comfort Inn and Crowne Plaza as well as several other inexpensive motels. If you can't find any rooms here, head for Northbourne avenue, where most of the city's hotels can be found. Many hotels offer courtesy shuttle bus transfers to and from the airport.
Canberra is particularly busy in the summer (December to February) although hotels can be fully booked at any time of year owing to trade conventions and government happenings. It is therefore wise to book up as far ahead as possible, and the internet offers the best option for doing this. Discounts are generally available when booking online and prices usually include surcharges.
