The time has finally arrived for the lucky winners of our Sea Sense competition to head down to Perranporth Beach, Cornwall, for their kitesurfing lesson with Kirsty Jones and the good folks from Ticket To Ride Surfing Academy. Essential Travel will be sending a specialised team of "beach-liaison officers" into the trenches, to make sure that all the action is covered. Anyone keen to join us and see "The Champ" impart pearls of wave-riding wisdom can drop by on Saturday, 20 August from around twelve o'clock in the afternoon.
Come wind, rain, sunny skies or spring tides, it's bound to be a great time. Even if you're one of those people who best appreciate the beach from the comfort of an easy chair, it's still a great chance to lap up the sights and sounds of the Cornish seaside. For more information about the Sea Sense campaign and the competition, check out our campaign website for details.
