There are a glut of great late deals around at the moment, but trauling through them for your perfect break can be a thankless task... luckily, we've already done the leg work, sifting through a ton of bargain holidays to bring you a choice selection of last minute deals.

UK Hotels

Campsites and self catering apartments have never been busier as the 'staycation' becomes ever popular, leaving hotels somewhat out in the cold. Most are doing their best to catch up by slashing prices through a range of summer deals. For example, rather than leave rooms empty, Malmasion are offering an excellent city deal: a night's stay, two course dinner and a bottle of wine or a jug of Pimms for £99 at its branches in Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester. For a country break, try The Bird In Hand in Berkshire. The pub hotel has reduced room rates and introduced a special weekend break deal: two nights stay, dinner and breakfast (based on two people sharing) for a budget friendly £90 per night.

Turkey

Avoid the Euro and head to Turkey. Holiday bargains abound on Directline Holidays, today we found 7 nights at the three star Celay Hotel in the Dalaman region including breakfast and transfers for £277 per person. Spain

The Euro may be strong, but you can still get good deals on the coast of Spain. Deal Checker have come up trumps here with 7 nights half board accommodation in the three star Reymar Playa, flights and transfers (to Malgrat de Mar on Costa Brava) for £153 per person (based on two sharing). Flights go from Gatwick to Girona in northern Spain. Meanwhile, First Choice are offering up to £200 off per couple when booking holidays to Majorca in August and September.
