Tutbury Castle Fireworks Spectacular
One of the best displays in the country is offering a twist this year. Tutbury Castle in Staffordshire has asked a drama group to reenact the Guy Fawkes's gunpowder plot at Houses of Parliament. This theatrical flourish is followed by the usual fireworks.

Ottery St Mary Tar Barrel Rolling
For a real spectacle, head to Ottery St Mary in Devon where flaming tar barrels are carried through the streets. Children and adults carry the flaming barrels and a giant barrel can be seen making its way through the town at midnight. There's also a 10 metre high bonfire, fairground and stalls.

Firework Thunder at Santa Pod Raceway
Monster trucks meet flames at this alternative bonfire night in Podington. Giant truck Podzilla is on hand to do some crushing, there's drivers from the Terry Grant Stunt Academy, jet trucks, a bonfire, fireworks and laser light show.

York Maze Fireworks Spectacular
Music fans get a hand in this bonfire night as the fireworks display is set to be choreographed to tunes chosen by local station Minster FM. There's also a huge bonfire, fire juggling and live music.

Abby Park Bonfire And Firework Display
The Leicester display is offering a circus take on bonfire night with fire shows by FlameOz, 8 foot clown Professor Crump, a ringmaster on stilts and a laser juggler. Of course, there will also be fireworks and a bonfire.
