XL Leisure Group Update
Following the news that XL Leisure Group has gone into administration, Essential Travel wants to reassure customers who booked our Airport Parking or Airport Hotel services through the XL Leisure website - that all bookings are valid.
Airport Parking
XL Leisure customers who made direct bookings through the our website or call centre will be able to amend or cancel bookings with one day's notice from parking commencement date and will be entitled to a full refund - even if you did not take out a cancellation waver at point of booking!
For customers who booked an Advance or Super Saver car park and wish to amend or cancel the booking - the decision is unfortunately at the car park's discretion. If the car park refuses to amend or cancel your booking, please contact Essential Travel immediately with your flight details and booking reference, and we will endeavour to get your booking changed or your payment refunded.
Airport Hotels & Lounges
Customers who wish to amend their bookings (but not cancel) will be able to do so, except in the case of Advance or Super Saver bookings, where the decision is unfortunately at the hotel's discretion. If the hotel refuses to amend or cancel your booking, please contact Essential Travel immediately with your flight details and booking reference, and we will endeavour to get your booking changed.
URGENT - You need to give 24 Hours notice to cancel a booking.
Cancellations for the same day will be charged at full price. Customers who wish to cancel bookings for the next day onwards will be entitled to a full refund.
