Security

The car park where your car will be stored has Security fencing-Barbed wire with CCTV and Barrier controls. The site also has security lighting, with 24-hour security. By choosing a Park Mark Safer Parking facility you are visiting a car park that has been vetted by the Police and has measures in place in order to create a safer environment for both you and your vehicle.

Transfers

This is Meet and Greet parking so no transfers are required.

Arrival Procedure

You will be called 20-30 minutes prior to your arrival time to confirm your drop off time. After following directions to your terminal, you will be greeted by a chauffeur, who will have all your booking details and will be wearing a black jacket with Drivefly company logo on it. In the event that you do not receive a phone call from one of our staff members within 20-30 minutes prior to your arrival, please call the car park.

Return Procedure

Once you have collected your luggage and are about to clear Customs, call the number given when your car was collected. You will be asked to remain in the terminal building, (Drivefly does not like our customers waiting in wet or cold conditions) once the chauffeur arrives back at the departures lane, he will call you to come and collect your car, and assist you with your luggage.

Terminal 1: When you come out of arrivals, walk across to the car park. You can then pick your car up from the same spot as where you left it.

Terminal 3: When coming out of the arrivals, (after the last security point) turn right toward the signs for Terminal 3 Short Stay Car Park.(Towards Boots the chemist). Take the lift to the first floor of the Short Stay Car Park (behind AMT Coffee). Come out of the lift and turn left and proceed to walk over the bridge. At the end of the bridge, on the Right Hand side there are lifts, where you need to take the lift up to the 5th floor of the short stay car park. Your car will be brought back to you between rows E, F or G.

Parking Procedure

In order to park your car on a secure car park, it may be driven roughly 9 miles, maximum of 16 miles.

Additional Information

Please note this service is only available if pickup and return times are between 04:00 and 00:00.

A mobile number must be provided while purchasing the booking. You will not be able to wait on the departures level therefore you must arrive at the agreed meeting time. If you anticipate arriving earlier, please call the number provided. If your arrival time changes please notify Drivefly on the number supplied or Essential Travel as soon as possible.

Waiting Time: As long arrival and return procedures are followed correctly waiting time should not be longer than 20 minutes.

Disabled Access

The service is ideal for disabled passengers as you will be met at the terminal, no bus transfers required, but note that adapted vehicles cannot be accepted for safety reasons.
