Security

As one of Heathrow's safest car parks, security at Purple Parking is a priority. Heathrow Purple Parking business has a Park Mark award. By choosing a Park Mark Safer Parking facility you are visiting a car park that has been vetted by the Police and has measures in place in order to create a safer environment for both you and your vehicle.

This Heathrow car park has the latest generation of CCTV monitoring. Camera images are shown and recorded within the car park lodge and they are also logged and recorded at Purple Parking business's remote Central Control Room.

Transfers

Car park bus transfers to and from the terminals at Heathrow Airport take 15-20mins. No transfers between midnight and 3.30am. Buses start operating from 3.30am.

Arrival Procedure

When you arrive at the car park, please follow the signs for check in and go through the car scanner area. Purple Parking hosts will direct you into the arrivals area. After parking, please take your belongings out of your car and go to the reception office to check in. You will be asked to hand over your car keys and you will be given your vehicle return voucher. Mileage and petrol checks will be completed on your vehicle before it is moved to the main compound. A courtesy bus will then take you and your fellow travellers to the terminals. Please note: The recommended airline check in times is normally 2-3 hours prior to departure.

Return Procedure

When you return and have cleared customs, please call the car park. When you tell them with your name and voucher number, they will instruct you which bus stop number to find and how to get to it so that you can return to the car park. At the car park your keys will be handed back to you when you produce your vehicle return voucher. Your car will be waiting for you in the returns area and you can be on your way!

Parking Procedure

A member of the car park's team will park your car for you and your keys will be kept at the car park until you return to collect your car.

Additional Information

On your return, please check the condition of your car before you leave the car park. In the highly unlikely event that your car has been damaged, claims can only be considered before you drive off the car park site.

There is a height restriction at this car park of 2.15 metres, which includes roof racks and roof boxes.

Purple Parking business can now carry skis and snowboards on their transfer buses.

The car park cannot guarantee that your car will be protected from the elements while parked with them.

Disabled Access

The transfer service is such that it caters for disabled customers to make their way to the airport building. You can also find a blue badge disabled parking space behind each of the 8 bus stops on the premises, where a bus driver will come by to assist any disabled passengers.
