Long Stay Parking Services at Heathrow Airport
Security at Heathrow Long Stay Parking:
The Park Mark accredited parking facility has fantastic security measures, including a high perimeter fence, CCTV monitoring, 24-hour security, and entry and exit barriers.
Transfers:
Transfers between terminals 1, 2, and 3 and the long stay parking building run from 4am, every 10 to 12 minutes, until 30 minutes after the last flight arrives (the car park will track the flight in case it is delayed). After the last flight arrives the buses run on demand and you will need to call 020 8745 6272 to ask to be picked up. Transfer buses take about 15 minutes to make the connection.
Arrival Procedures:
The entry barrier has an automatic number plate recognition, which reads your car registration and matches that to the driver's booking reference. A ticket is issued and the boom gate is opened. If the ticket reads 'cashier' drivers must take the ticket and booking confirmation sheet to the cashier.
Parking Procedures:
Drivers must park their own car, following the markings to the correct parking zone.
You need to give us your car registration number either when you book, or sometime before you go. It needs to be the right one - if you change the car you're going to be travelling in, you need to give us the new details. You must do this, or the car park will charge you £10 when you leave, because if they don't have the right registration number, it holds things up when you arrive and leave.
Return Procedures:
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 passengers go to the Courtesy Coach Stop for transfer to the long stay parking site on the Parking Express bus, and Terminal 3 passengers must catch a transfer from Bus Stop 17. When exiting the car park, insert the issued ticket into the barrier machine, and the barrier gate will lift. Remember, if your ticket was printed with 'cashier' on it, you must visit the reception facility beside the exit before exiting.
Directions:
Exit the M4 at Junction 4, which is signed 'Heathrow Airport'. Follow the signs for 'Long Term Parking'. You will need to take the second turn on the left, off Heathrow Spur Road and then right at the roundabout. When you come to a set of traffic lights, turn left and follow signs reading 'Long Stay Parking'.
Important Information:
Long Stay Terminals 1-3 requires a minimum six-day stay. Disabled access is available, with low-floor wheelchair friendly transfer buses in use, and disabled persons parking bays located adjacent to bus stops. Extra booking space is required if trailer parking is desired.
Time to Airport:
Ten minutes.
Distance to Airport:
Long Stay Parking is an on-airport parking service.
